24 bit seismograph for seismic prospecting with refraction, reflection survey, active and passive MASW (), SASW, Down-hole, Cross-hole methods. Unit is equipped with 24 bit resolution acquisition board and is available in 12 channels version expandable to Two 24 pole connectors for seismic cables of 12 channels each, starter connector. Intersism it's a software designed to make the entire processing of seismic data coming from a refraction seismic method acquisition. The software extract data directly from the file SEG2 format, SEGY or SU - and give you the possibility to put directly the first arrival picking time. Intersism can manage up to 9 'shots', three inside the line.

PROJECT: Refraction and ReMi geophysical surveys at a proposed Wind Farm LOCATION: West of Ellensburg, Washington PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Designed and performed seismic refraction / ReMi surveys at 22 proposed Wind Turbine Generator sites for the primary purpose of obtaining shear-wave (Vs) and compressional-wave (Vp) velocities. Lithospheric velocity structure and its relationship to regional tectonics and development of the southern Canadian Cordillera are derived from a synthesis of interpretations from nine in-line seismic refraction–wide-angle reflection profiles and broadside data recorded during the Lithoprobe Southern Cordillera Refraction Experiment (SCoRE) and other refraction .

A combined seismic reflection and refraction survey was carried out in to investigate the structure and tectonic evolution of the basin and underlying crust.

While the marine multichannel reflection data were being collected, refracted and wide-angle reflected energy from the large air-gun array was recorded at surrounding land sites in Cited by: 5. To investigate this plate boundary and the implications of oblique subduction on crustal structure beneath the region, an onshore-offshore seismic refraction survey was conducted in The survey was designed to sample the crust beneath the Queen Charlotte Islands and across Hecate Strait to the mainland of British Columbia.

ment work continued with seismic refraction and reflection surveys that were ground-truthed with deep boreholes (Livingstone ; Lundberg; Le Breton et al.

). A seismic refraction study of the Queen Charlotte fault zone: Creator: Dehler, Sonya Astrid: Publisher: University of British Columbia: Date Issued: Description: The margin between the continental North American and oceanic Pacific plates west of the Queen Charlotte Islands is uniquely marked by an active transform fault zone.

In the BATHOLITHSonland seismic project, a refraction – wide-angle reflection survey was shot in across the Coast Mountains and Interior Plateau of central British Columbia. Part of the seismic profile crossed the Nechako Basin, a Jurassic–Cretaceous basin with potential for hydrocarbons within sedimentary strata that underlies widespread volcanic.
